Come together with
us to remember the timeless
power and magic of story-telling.
Share and celebrate the written word at this evening event at Itteringham Village Hall. As so much of our lives is spent looking at screens and being distracted with 10-second social media reels and memes, this is an opportunity to come together and remember the timeless power and magic of story-telling.
With a selection of readers, some reading their own work and others reading work penned by familiar names, we can sit back and enjoy journeying in our hearts and minds as each story takes us instantly into the thick of another life with laughter, poignancy and thoughtfulness.
Included in the ticket will be a full meal of jacket potatoes with home-made ratatouille and salad, plus a choice of mulled wine or hot chocolate.
The readings will be as follows:
The Closing Door by Rose Tremain read by Linda Evans
The Debutante by Leonora Carrington read by Clare Gillham
Notes from the Henhouse by Elspeth Barker read by Lily Barker
Creative writing written and read by Shereen Jackson
A selection of poems written and read by Emrys Skye
Come and fill your cup with the relaxed and wonderful energy of the Vagabond community!
It would be lovely to see you there!
